This sculpture is aptly named "Bonita" and was born out of the foothills of Spartanburg County. Locally interested landscape architect and artist Tipton Pitts studied in Europe and took his inspiration from the artist Contantin Brancusi when he created this jade soapstone sculpture that is beautifully mounted on a mahogany base.
