Position: Operations Manager
Location: Memphis, TN
Status: Full Time

Come join our established design firm and interiors boutique in Memphis, TN! We’re seeking a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a passion for beautiful objects and interiors. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Lindley Martens Design and Laurel Rd. Antiques and Modern.

Job Responsibilities:

Design Project Management

  • Maintain master calendar and coordinate schedules, appointments, installations and bookings
  • Manage email correspondence with clients, vendors, sub-contractors, etc.
  • Communicate with clients regarding appointments, installations, status of orders
  • Manage all proposals and invoices, including requesting vendor quotes, creating client proposals and tracking approvals and payments (including custom furnishing orders)
  • Coordinate and manage expediting, deliveries, storage, installations to ensure accuracy, timely delivery, and quality of all purchasing activities
  • Maintain design sample library

Shop Management

  • Maintain Laurel Rd. shop and online inventory using Shopify and Chairish, including pricing, product photography, and order fulfillment
  • Greet and assist customers during normal shop hours, including setting up trade accounts, taking items on approval, and coordinating delivery

Education and Experience:

  • Business or Interior Design degree or equivalent
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with many moving parts
  • Proficiency in Studio Designer or similar software preferred
  • Experience working with Shopify or similar software preferred
  • Proficiency with Excel, Dropbox and MAC computers a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A high degree of personal organization and close attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a tidy and efficient workspace
  • Must be able to work in-office during regular business hours (9 am to 5 pm) Monday-Friday
