Nordic Neoclassic Metal Bird Box with detachable lid. 1920s. Made by the Danish sculptor and metalsmith Just Anderson. Made of Diskometal, an alloy invented by the sculptor and named after Disko Bay in Greenland, where he grew up. This is a lovely and very special piece.
